Biography
Morris is listed as one of the Wildcats' starting wide receivers going into the 2007 season after a breakout 2006 campaign. 2006 (Sophomore): Morris proved himself to be one of the top No. 2 receivers in the Lone Star Conference in 2006, catching 42 passes for 539 yards and three touchdowns. He had two 100-yard receiving games, catching seven passes for 122 yards and one score against Texas A&M-Kingsville, and then finishing the regular season
with eight catches for 106 yards against Midwestern State. In ACU's 30-27 overtime playoff loss at West Texas A&M, Morris had four catches for 72 yards. 2005 (Redshirt freshman): Finished his redshirt freshman season with one catch for six yards. His biggest play of the season, though, came in the second week when he picked up a blocked punt at Northeastern State and ran it in from 20 yards out to cut the Redmen lead to 14-7 midway through the fourth quarter. ACU went on to win the game, 20-14, in overtime. High school: Rolled up 2,266 total yards as a senior (1,007 receiving yards, 533 rushing yards, 726 return yards). He also picked off four passes as a senior at defensive back. Morris was a three-year letterman for a team that went 34-6 over those three seasons. He was an all-district wide receiver and defensive back as both a junior and senior. Morris was selected to play in East-West Coca-Cola All-Star Game in Denton.
