2021-2022: Cross Country – 79th in the WAC championship and 10th in the Naimadu Classic. Indoors – placed 14th in the mile and scored by getting 5tth in the distance medley relay, running the leadoff 1200 meter leg. Outdoors – placed 5th in the WAC 800 with a PR time of 1:51.94 in the prelims and placed 2nd in the Wes Kittley Invitational steeplechase with a PR time of 9:26.17.

2020-2021: Cross Country – 7th in the ACU-Baylor Duel Invitational in the fall, then placed 59th in the SLC XC meet in the spring. Indoors – placed 12th in the SLC mile and scored points by running on the 6th place distance medley relay, running the 1200 meter leadoff leg, but the indoor season was a redshirt year for all. Outdoors – finished 14th in the SLC steeplechase, as well as getting 5th in the North Texas Classic steeplechase in Denton.

Before ACU: Placed 63rd in the Texas 5A XC as a senior, but had his outdoor senior season shortened by the pandemic....ranked #9 in Texas and #44 in the U.S. with his time of 4:19.65 in the 1600....placed 2nd in the District 4-5A 1600 and 3200 in 2019.

Personal: Cooper is a 2020 graduate of Aledo HS....parents are Matt and Heidi Goggans....Kinesiology major.
