Biography

 Junior: Valenzuela hit .344 in 15 games for the Wildcats … he saw action primarily at the corner infield spots driving in 5 runs in his first season at ACU … he earned his first start against Texas College going 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base … he recorded a season high 3 hits at Southeastern Oklahoma also scoring a run … was named to Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll

Sierra College: As a sophomore in 2008, Valenzuela was a starter at third in 36 games (playing in 40 games total), finishing the season with a .290 batting average and 20 RBI. Sierra finished the season 39-15 and won the California State Community College baseball championship. Hit .278 as a freshman in 2007, appearing in eight games for a team that reached the Elite Eight round of the California Community College state tournament.
High School: All-District infielder in two states … was third basemen and shortstop three-time All-District in state of Hawaii before moving to California … at San Benito High was again named All-District infielder helping lead his team to a California State Championship for head coach Mike Luna
