Biography

Will serve as the Wildcats’ backup catcher in his second season in the program.

2008 (Freshman): 
Saw action in a 14 games with eight starts. Drove in a career-best two runs in a March 9 win over West Texas &M and hit his first collegiate home run on March 22 against Southeastern Oklahoma State.

High School: 
Three-year letterwinner at Burleson HS, Bankston was a first team all-district selection as a senior in 2007. He was also a first team all-Johnson County pick in 2007, and he was team captain as a senior.
