Freshmen: Yacek (pronounced YA-cik) made 23 appearances all in relief for ACU … he recorded 27 strike outs in 31.2 innings of work … finished up his freshmen season with a 3-2 record and a 6.82 ERA … recorded his first win at Central Oklahoma (2/20/09) pitching 4.2 innings and striking out eight in a 14-12 ACU win

High School: Posted an outstanding 0.77 ERA as a senior at Lake Travis High school … recorded 39 strikeouts in 37 innings of work … was voted All-District as a senior helping Lake Travis to a 30-10 record and a Texas State Semifinal appearance
