Biography


Played in 57 games and started in 55 for the Wildcats in 2008 and will return as the slated first baseman in her final season.

2008 (Junior):
Hit .291 and drove in 27 runs in her junior campaign. She hit third on the team with 12 doubles and hit four home runs.  Had a season-high three RBI on three different occasions. Had three doubles against Texas A&M-Kingsville March 15. For her performance on the field, Cornelison was named to the LSC South Division Honorable Mention team.

2006-07 (Antelope Valley College):
A two-time all-Foothill Conference selection, two-time all-state selection and also a two-time junior college all-American (2006, 2007).  Cornelison also holds Antelop’s records for home runs in a season, home runs over a two-year span, doubles in a season, and doubles over a two-year span. 

High school: 
Four-year letterwinner for coach Dean Johnson at Lancaster (Calif.) High School.  Made the all-Golden League in 2005 as well as Golden League honorable mention selection in 2004.  Was also selected to the Los Angeles Daily News’ first team, and was voted her district’s most valuable defensive player as well as the most valuable offensive player.
