Hudson returns for his junior year and should be a force at the top of the lineup for the Wildcats. Hudson and Juan Nunez are also the No. 3 doubles team in NCAA_Division II, according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s pre-season rankings. Last fall he teamed with Nunez to win the LSC doubles title.  That duo also finished third in doubles at the ITA National Tournament.  2006-07 (Sophomore): Hudson was a first-team all-LSC selection in doubles and a second-team all-LSC selection in singles. He also was a Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection. Hudson finished with a combined singles record of 20-5 and a combined doubles record of 21-10.  2005-06 (Freshman): Hudson went 22-6 in singles matches for ACU, with most of those matches being in the three through five spots. That play garnered him a second team all-conference selection. He also proved to be a tremendous doubles player as he teamed up with eight different partners to accrue a 14-3 overall record.  High school:_Hudson enjoyed an outstanding four-year career as the No. 1 singles player at Abilene HS, a perennial Class 5A powerhouse.  Hudson and his partner Hutton Jones Jr. were the state’s top-ranked doubles team and reached the Class 5A state tournament where they lost in the semifinals to finish their senior season at 29-1. He was all-District 3-5A performer in singles as a junior and senior and in doubles as a senior.
