Biography

Nicole Deel returns to the hot corner for the Wildcats after posting a powerful junior season.  However, she'll be pushed for the starting job in 2007 by transfer Jamie Parker.  2006 (Junior): Deel posted one of the top offensive seasons in ACU softball history, hitting .339 with 13 home runs and 55 RBI to earn first team all-Lone Star Conference South Division and second team NFCA all-region honors.  Her 13 home runs led the LSC and are the second-best single-season total in school history.  She also led the league with 55 RBI, which is also the second-best single-season total in school history.  She had a pair of five-RBI games on the season, the best of which was her game against West Texas A&M when she went 4 for 4 with four runs scored, two doubles, two home runs and five RBI.  She also had five RBI in a Feb. 12 win over New Mexico Highlands.  2004-05 (Cerritos College): Deel was a first team all-conference, first team all-Southern California and second team all-state infielder as a sophomore in 2005.  She hit .365 with 13 doubles and a Cerritos College-record nine home runs.  As a sophomore in 2004, Deel hit .264 with three home runs and 25 RBI.  Personal:  Born 15 October 1985.  2003 graduate of Pacifica High School.
