Biography

Reese should see playing time as both a midfielder and a forward this year for the Wildcats.  One of five players to make the squad from last year's open-campus tryout practice squad.  High school:  Reese was a four-year letterwinner at Abilene HS where she played forward for the Eagles.  Earned first team all-district honors in her junior year (2003) and second team all-district her senior year (2004).  She was also voted team captain her senior year. Personal:  Her grandfather, Leon Reese, was a star basketball player at Abilene Christian in the early 1940s and was a pioneer of the one-handed jump shot.  He was inducted into the ACU Sports Hall of Fame in February 1996.  Her father, Jim Reese, is a former ACU quarterback who set the Lone Star Conference and ACU single-game passing record with 564 yards in a 1976 game against Angelo State.  He finished his career as the sixth-leading passer in school history.  A longtime football and baseball coach, Jim Reese was an ACU assistant coach from 2000-03.  Born 28 Aug 1985.  2004 graduate of Abilene High School.
