FRESHMAN PHENOM: ACU's usual Sunday starter,
Brett Lanman, is having a phenomenal freshman season. He leads the WAC with a 2.34 earned run average, 52 strikeouts, five wins, 1.02 WHIP and 5.53 hits allowed per nine innings.
CAMPA ON FIRE:
Iain Campa is second in the WAC with four wins and fifth with a 3.16 earned run average.
HISTORY WITH TECH: The Wildcats have lost the last four meetings, including a 9-4 setback in Lubbock this season. ACU was ahead 6-0 at home last season when the game was moved to Lubbock a few days later thanks to a lightning delay. The Red Raiders ended up winning 15-11.
SCOUTING TECH
The Red Raiders are 24-9 this season after a weekend sweep of Houston.
Texas Tech is eighth in the NCAA with a .323 batting average and 9.5 runs per game average.
