ABILENE – Abilene Christian took an 8-7 win over Texas Arlington on Saturday to even the series heading into Sunday's game, which has been moved up to 12:05 p.m. due to weather.

The Wildcats scored three times in the first inning on an RI double by Miller Ladusau and RBI singles from Gino D'Alessio and Caden Matlon.

ACU went ahead 4-1 in the third on Ladusau's solo home run to center field.

After UTA made it a 4-3 game in the top of the fourth, ACU added a sacrifice fly by Garrett Williams for a 5-3 lead.

Zandt Payne drove in a run with a base hit in the sixth and Ranse Radtke added a two-run single in the seventh for an 8-4 lead.
