Turning Point
The 16-0 run to close the first quarter and open the second for Sam Houston was a big part of this game. The lead was 18 early in the period, and would get pushed to 22 at halftime. ACU made a run at it in the second half, but it was a big deficit to overcome.
Stat Pack
- The 92 points and 14 three-pointers are the most in a game this season for ACU. The 92 points is the most against a Division I opponent since Dec. 4, 2021 when ACU beat Nicholls, 97-71. It is also the most points in a conference game since Feb. 29, 2020 against Central Arkansas (93-71).

- Martin, Langstaff, and Miller all battled foul trouble Saturday. Miller fouled out, while Martin and Langstaff finished with four each. Enter Claire Graham, Zoe Jackson, and Tristin Keller, who contributed with HUGE minutes off the bench.
- ACU was outscored 46-38 in the paint, but outside the arc the edge was 42-0. UTA did not make a three-pointer Saturday.
