Jones paces ACU's shot total at Sam Houston

HUNTSVILLE, Texas  – Senior Natalie Jones led the way in shot attempts, Lily Foster added seven saves, but the ACU soccer team fell 2-0 at Sam Houston on Friday night at Pritchett Field. The Wildcats (4-4-3, 0-2-2 WAC) trailed after the fifth minute of the game, and could not catch back up en route to the defeat.

The Goals
- 5' | Kinsey Hill put the Bearkats up 1-0 five minutes into the game.
- 73' | Sam Houston led 1-0 at halftime, and put the game away with a goal from Kailey Pena.

The Numbers
- Sam held the edge in shot attempts, 15-10, and led 9-3 in shots on frame.
- Lily Foster tallied seven saves, all in the first half.
- The game was tied at 4-4 in corner kicks earned.
- Jones tallied three shot attempts to lead the 'Cats, placing one on frame. She now is up to 159 career shot attempts, the seventh-most in ACU history.
