ABILENE — The preseason WAC volleyball poll was released on Thursday with the Wildcats selected to finish 11th. Volleyball is coming off of an eighth-place finish and a WAC tournament berth in their first year in the new league.
After a 9-15 finish last season the Wildcats are moving into a new era under new head coach
Alisa Blair. The team lost two key starters from a season ago but return a solid core as they head into year two in the WAC.
The team will be in action for the first time on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. when they host Dallas Baptist for a scrimmage in the renovated Moody Coliseum.
