SAN ANTONIO – Colton Eager went 4-for-4,
Mitchell Dickson tallied three hits, but the ACU baseball team fell to UIW on the road Wednesday night at Sullivan Field, 12-5. The Wildcats (4-4) trailed 4-1 after the first inning, then UIW (3-2) put together an eight-run fifth inning to break it open. Wednesday marked the first-ever non-conference game in the 75-game series between the schools. ACU outhit UIW 12-9, but will head back to Abilene with a .500 record before the weekend series with Marist.

Tanner Tweedt, in the sixth inning, to put ACU down 12-4.
- Eager doubled, and Dickson eventually scored on an error in centerfield in the sixth.
