EDINBURG, Texas – Veterans 
Colton Eager and 
Grayson Tatrow each recorded two RBI, 
Tommy Cruz drove in a run, but the ACU baseball team fell in the series finale to UTRGV Sunday. The Vaqueros scored 12 runs to claim the series win over ACU (8-7, 1-2 WAC), scored six runs on eight hits in the game.
How It Happened
- Tatrow doubled in 
Mitchell Dickson to score the first run of the game in the top of the first. Cruz then drove in Tatrow with a groundout to lead 2-0.
- UTRGV matched it with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first.
- An eight-run second inning was the difference in the game, as UTRGV used four hits to take a 10-2 lead.
- Tatrow doubled into left center field to plate 
Bryson Hill in the top of the fifth.
- UTRGV hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to lead 12-3.
- Eager scored in the eighth inning after a double-play up the middle, and Eager would then drive in Tatrow and 
Aaron Staehely in the ninth to give it a final of 12-6.

- Tatrow had the lone multi-hit day for ACU, and led the way with Eager with two RBI.

Adam Stephenson (1.1 innings) takes the loss, after allowing five earned on five hits.

Adam Byrd struck out three in 1.2 innings of relief.

- It is the fifth multi-RBI day for Tatrow this season.

- The Wildcats head to future WAC opponent UT Arlington for the midweek game on Tuesday, March 15. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. in the Metroplex. ACU then hosts SFA for a three-game series next weekend.
