EDINBURG, Texas – Sophomore
Chayse Thorn led ACU's shot total with two, seven different players tallied a shot attempt, but the Wildcat soccer team fell to UTRGV on the road Thursday night, 1-0. ACU (4-9-4, 0-7-3 WAC) trailed 1-0 at halftime, and UTRGV held on in the second half to keep the score right there. ACU will close the season on Saturday back at home at Elmer Gray Stadium against SFA.
The Goal
- 26' | UTRGV's Amy Hislop scored her fourth goal of the season to put the Vaqueros up 1-0 at the break.
The Numbers
- UTRGV led ever-so-slightly, 9-8, in shot attempts. However, it was a 5-1 edge in shots on frame.
