Bonnarens, Middleton, Miller lead ACU at Seattle U

SEATTLE, Wash. – Jamie Bonnarens tallied 16 points, Emma Middleton added 15, Madi Miller dropped 12, but the Abilene Christian women's basketball team fell at the hands of Seattle U Thursday night at the Redhawk Center, 75-61. The Wildcats (12-6, 4-3 WAC) held Seattle to just 27 first-half points, but the Redhawks scored 48 in the second half and pulled away in the fourth to beat the 'Cats in their first-ever meeting. The game featured a pair of legends on the sideline; Julie Goodenough and Suzy Barcomb are the only two active coaches to take multiple schools to the Division I, Division II, and Division III NCAA Tournaments.

Turning Point: The fourth quarter.
ACU took a 51-46 lead into the final frame, but Seattle U outscored the 'Cats 29-10 in the period, and shot 72% from the floor in that stretch.
