ABILENE – Redshirt junior
Sarah Griswold scored a career-high 18 points, the entire team hauled in an incredible 28 offensive rebounds, and the Abilene Christian women's basketball team picked up a 93-35 win over cross-town foe McMurry Tuesday afternoon at the Teague Center. ACU built a 12-2 lead early and never looked behind, snapping a two-game losing streak and wrapping up non-conference play in style. The 93 points is the second-highest total this season as the 'Cats head into conference play on Dec. 30.
Turning Point: A 12-0 run in the first quarter.
ACU trailed 2-0 after the game's first possession for McMurry, but never looked back after that. The Wildcats scored 12 straight points led by three-pointers from
Kamryn Mraz and Griswold. The lead would then get as big as 14 in the first half, and ACU never had a smaller lead again.

Nykale Cramer hit her fifth triple of the season late in the game.

- Griswold recorded a career-high 18 points on an incredibly efficient 7-of-9 from the floor. She added three rebounds and an assist as well.
- Barber recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds, giving ACU its first double-double effort of the season.
- Bonnarens keeps her streak alive of double-digit scoring games with 11; the total has now run up to eight in a row.
- Morgan added 10 points and six boards, and a career-high eight assists.
- ACU recorded 28 offensive rebounds, the most for the program in four years; the last time ACU had at least 28 was when they recorded 29 against Schreiner on Nov. 13, 2017.
- ACU outrebounded McMurry 52-17.
- The Wildcats forced 25 turnovers in the game as well.

ACU will continue to stay home the rest of the month, and will open WAC play against defending tournament champion Utah Valley on Dec. 30 at the Teague Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN+ and 102.7 The Bear.
