NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Nicole Barham and
Jordan Michie led the way with two shot attempts each, but the ACU soccer team fell at SFA Friday night, 3-0., in their first road game in over a month. The Wildcats (4-5-1, 2-1-1 WAC) drop their first league game of the season and drop into a tie for second place in the Southwest Division standings. ACU remains with seven conference points heading into a matchup on Sunday at Sam Houston.
The Goals
- 4' | SFA's Colleen Feagins scored early to put SFA on the board.
- 70' | Briana Beaty added a big goal with 20 minutes left to put SFA up 2-0.
- 84' | Lily Hargrove added the third goal for the Ladyjacks.
The Numbers
- SFA held a 16-10 edge in shot attempts, including a 6-2 lead in shots on goal.
- Barham and Michie led the way with two shot attempts apiece.
