ABILENE, Texas —
Bryley Steinhilber notched career-highs in kills (16) and hitting percentage (.325) in three sets against the Texans. The Wildcats struggled to find consistency on offense throughout the match, but Steinhilber was the lone bright spot in a tough match. Tarleton jumped out to an early lead in the first set and used their physicality at the net to put up a big block. The Wildcats held tough in sets two and three but couldn't find a way to push the momentum in their favor as they fell in straight sets.
