ABILENE – The Wildcats return home on Saturday night after a three-game stint on the road. ACU went 1-2 on the road trip including two overtime games and dropped to 6-3 in conference play. The team will look to put those games in the past and focus on the task at hand as they host UIW in the second game of a doubleheader with the women's team on Saturday. The Cardinals sit at 2-7 in conference play, coming off a win over Houston Baptist. With the Cardinals holding an 8-4 advantage in the series since the teams move to DI the Wildcats will look to continue their four-game winning streak

- The Wildcats fell on the road at SFA on Wednesday, 71-61, and committed a season-high 27 turnovers.
- Senior,
Payten Ricks, was held to just six points and put up just four shots in the game.

Coryon Mason is coming off his third-straight game scoring at least 14 points, and went 5-7 from the field at SFA.
- The Wildcats shot well from the field but were held to just 61 points, their lowest scoring effort since putting up just 66 points at Wichita State.
- Despite the turnovers on Wednesday the Wildcats still remain top-3 in the country in turnover margin at plus-6.3.
SCOUTING UIW
- UIW comes into the game with just five wins on the season, and just two DI wins over New Orleans and Houston Baptist.
- The Cardinals are coming off a win over Houston Baptist, 84-82. UIW was down four at the half but rallied back to hand the Huskies their 17
th loss of the season.
- The team is averaging just 65 points per game while giving up almost 74 points per game to their opponents.
