ABILENE, Texas— The Wildcats came out of the gate on a 13-2 run that set the tone for the night as they ran away with a 76-55 win over Southeastern Louisiana. ACU backed up a solid defensive performance last Saturday against A&M-Corpus Christi with another dominant performance over the Lions tonight. The team once again set their lowest points allowed against a DI opponent on the season and never trailed in a game that favored ACU from the outset. The team brought a balanced attack on offense and played another stellar game at home.

- Kolton Kohl opened the game with a dunk off a pass from Joe Pleasant to set the tone for the first half.
- The next two buckets from the Wildcats came from offensive rebounds and putbacks.
- On a layup from Hayden Howell with four minutes left in the first half, ACU pushed their lead to 24 points. They would lead by 22 at the half.
- Coryon Mason hit a tough layup in the paint and drew a foul to help push the Wildcats lead to 29 just three minutes into the second half.
- Pleasant took a hard foul and made the layup and the free throw to help push the Wildcats lead to 26 points with just four minutes left to play to help seal the win.
Turning Point
The Wildcats defense was locked in from the tip as they held the Lions to single digit scoring through the first 12 minutes of action. ACU built a 15-point lead at that point and never looked back.
