Senior Spotlight: Wildcats volleyball

ABILENE – Saturday morning will prove to be a bittersweet moment for Wildcats volleyball as they close out the 2019 regular season. As the team prepares to play for a chance to clinch the final spot in the Southland Conference tournament, they will also be preparing to say farewell to several seniors on their roster. Seven players will be honored pregame Saturday morning for the contributions they have made to the volleyball program during their time with ACU.

This class has seen the highs and lows of the program in their tenure. They were part of the team 2017 team that upset SFA in the first round of the Southland tournament and made a Cinderella run to championship game before falling just short against UCA. The same group saw the team falter in the first round of the conference tournament last season as the four-seed and now they have a battle ahead for a chance to be the final team to clinch a tournament spot. Through all of these moments these seniors have stood out both on and off the court and have helped to lay the groundwork for the future of ACU volleyball.
