ABILENE – Abilene Christian women's basketball continues its three-game Southland Conference homestand Wednesday with a 7 p.m. contest vs. Houston Baptist, which has yet to defeat the Wildcats through six meetings.
The Wildcats are 8-1 at home this season. Their most recent win – an 86-80 decision over Southeastern La. – clinched ACU its 16th consecutive winning season at Moody Coliseum.

The Jan. 10 meeting between ACU and HBU is their lone regular-season contest of the 2017-18 season.
The Wildcats thumped the Huskies, 89-60, in their last meeting at Sharp Gym to earn a share of the Southland Conference regular-season championship.
Houston Baptist last visited Abilene on Jan. 27, 2016, falling, 77-60.
The Wildcats improved to 7-1 all time vs. Southeastern La. following its 86-80 home win on Jan. 6 ... For the first time this season ACU had two players record a double-double (Sierra Allen 13/16 and Dominique Golightly (18/10) and two other players score 20 points (Sara Williamson and Breanna Wright) ... And for the fourth time this season, five players reached double figures as the starters totaled 81 points.
The Wildcats additionally tied their season-high field goal percentage of .509 (vs. Idaho) and their 33 free-throw attempts were their most since attempting 37 last season at Central Arkansas (Feb. 8).
Wright played her third complete game of the season and seventh of her career, while Allen played a career-high 39 – 10 more than her previous high of 29 set earlier this season vs. Radford.
Sophomore Breanna Wright continues to average well over 30 minutes per game for the second straight season (34.0) after averaging 31.8 as a freshman, a difference of 2.8 minutes per game ... Several of her returning letter winner teammates have experienced some noticeable spikes as well, all of which are listed below ...
