MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Abilene Christian women's cross country team finished in seventh place at the Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course.
Michaela Hackett led the Wildcats finishing in eighth place.

Hackett covered the 6-kilometer course in 21:45, finishing just behind Michigan State's Erin McDonald.
Alexandria Hackett completed the course second for the Wildcats with a time of 21:59, to finish 15 overall.

"Overall we had an OK day as a team," distance coach
Jarvis Jelen said. "It's expected that some people are going to have an off day when racing on a very difficult course and weather conditions. However, we still beat some solid teams and gained valuable information to better ourselves for NCAA Pre-Nationals next month."

Redshirt senior Diana García Muñoz finished 31
st cruising through the course in 22:39.
Carnley Graham and
Soren Underwood rounded out the top five for ACU finishing in 68
th and 103rd, respectively. Graham clocked a time of 23:29, while Underwood finished in 24:31.

Sierra Bennett (25:14) finished 112 overall and
Briahna Gerlach (27:32) rounded things out for ACU finishing in 123.

The University of San Francisco finished first overall with the first four finishers wearing green and gold. The Dons had 22 team points. The Wildcats finished with 225 points behind Colorado State who finished with 211 points.

The Wildcats return to action Oct. 14 at the NCAA Division I Pre-Nationals in Louisville, Ky.
