Wildcats Fall to Javelinas 66-55

ABILENE – Antwan Mullins scored 25 points for Texas A&M-Kingsville as the Javelinas knocked off ACU 66-55 in Lone Star Conference South Division play at Moody Coliseum.
The Wildcats failed to get their offense going and were held under 60 points for the second consecutive game. Texas A&M-Kingsville picks up their first South Division win as they move to 1-3 and 6-10 overall while ACU remains winless in Division play at 0-4 and 8-8 on the season.
The Javelinas were hot in the first half shooting 60 percent from the field and dominating inside where they scored 38 of their 66 points. The Wildcats were on the opposite end as they shot 37 percent on the night. A&M-Kingsville also did a good job of limiting the Wildcats' second chances as pulling down 23 defensive rebounds.
Desmond Woodberry finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds before fouling out in the last minute. Eric Milam led ACU with 12 points.
Marcus Ford was the only other player in double figures with 10 points for the Javelinas.
