Bronchos Roll Past Wildcats

EDMOND, Okla. – The 15th-ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos scored 10 unanswered points to start the second half rolling to a 81-53 win over ACU Monday night at Hamilton Field House in Lone Star Conference Crossover action.
The Wildcats went cold in the second half after trailing 37-29 at the break. ACU also failed to have a player record double figure points for the first time this season as the Wildcats fell to 4-3 on the season while UCO improves to 10-1.
UCO caught fire behind the arc knocking down 15 three pointers led by Dauntae Williams' five treys as he finished with a game high 26 points. By contrast the Wildcats struggled from behind the arc shooting 20 percent and going 3 for 15 their lowest output so far of the season.
Marcus Washington led the way for ACU scoring nine points.
ACU returns to action on Saturday hosting East Central at Moody Coliseum at 4 p.m. All fans bringing an unwrapped toy will earn free admission as ACU basketball will help the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.
