EDMOND, Okla. – The 15th-ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos scored 10 unanswered points to start the second half rolling to a 81-53 win over ACU Monday night at Hamilton Field House in Lone Star Conference Crossover action.
The Wildcats went cold in the second half after trailing 37-29 at the break. ACU also failed to have a player record double figure points for the first time this season as the Wildcats fell to 4-3 on the season while UCO improves to 10-1.
UCO caught fire behind the arc knocking down 15 three pointers led by Dauntae Williams' five treys as he finished with a game high 26 points. By contrast the Wildcats struggled from behind the arc shooting 20 percent and going 3 for 15 their lowest output so far of the season.
ACU returns to action on Saturday hosting East Central at Moody Coliseum at 4 p.m. All fans bringing an unwrapped toy will earn free admission as ACU basketball will help the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.
