LSC honors Maxwell-Lively


RICHARDSON -- ACU senior center Audrey Maxwell-Lively was named the Lone Star Conference South Division Women's Player of the Week on Monday after she helped the Wildcats to a 2-0 record last week.

Maxwell-Lively recorded the 33rd and 34th double-doubles of her career last week as she led the Wildcats to a 2-0 record with wins at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Wednesday and against Angelo State Saturday. At 3-1, the Wildcats are in second place in the LSC South Division with games against Tarleton State and Midwestern State coming up this week.

After scoring 11 points and pulling down rebounds in Wednesday's 71-62 win at TAMUK on Wednesday, Maxwell-Lively poured in a game-high 29 points and pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds in ACU's 69-49 win over ASU on Saturday. Maxwell-Lively hit 12 of 16 shots from the field in Saturday's victory over the Rambelles. Her 29-point output helped Maxwell-Lively move into 15th place on ACU's all-time scoring list with 1,269 points.
