Junior college hurler to join Wildcats for 2004 season

ABILENE -- ACU head softball coach Chantiel Wilson has added junior college pitcher Lacey Beaston for the 2004 season.

Beaston transfers to ACU from Saddleback College (Calif.) where she was 13-8 in 2003, earning first team all-conference and team MVP honors. Beaston was a standout at Lancaster High School in Leona Valley, Calif., earning first team all-conference and team MVP honors.

Aside from earning four letters in softball, Beaston played varsity soccer.
