ACU finishes 10th at GCU / Thunderbird Invitational

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- ACU finished 10th Tuesday at the 18-team Grand Canyon
/ Thunderbird Invitational golf tournament at the Palm Valley Country Club.
The Wildcats finished the 54-hole tournament at 29-over-par 893, 46 shots
behind the first-place team, Cal State-Bakersfield, which blistered the
course to the tune of a 17-under-par 847 total over three days.
ACU's top finisher was junior Brian O'Leary, who tied for 11th at 215
after firing a final-round 72. Other ACU finishers were Gary Pike, 219 for
20th place; David Van Ryke, 224 for 40th place; Rustin Gradke, 238 for 85th;
and Trey Rowe, 239 for 86th.
