You may have seen a new look to ACU's student sections at home football and basketball games this fall. The Wildcat Wranglers, decked out in their purple and white striped overalls, are a new student group on campus. This group of nine freshmen have made it a point to get there early, stay late, and be loud for the Wildcats! The Wranglers were personally invited by head coach Keith Patterson to travel with the team to the Central Arkansas game on Nov. 22.
We talked with two of their members to learn more about the group and why they're so passionate about the Purple and White. And in the second half of this episode, we have some fun getting to know about the personal interests of a few players outside of football.

Nathan Jones transferred to ACU over the offseason, but you'd have a hard time finding anyone on campus who knows more about the history of Wildcat football than him. Nathan is a fourth-generation Wildcat. Hs grandfather Dewitt Jones and great-grandfather Garvin Beauchamp were both champion ACU head coaches, and his dad Jay Jones was an All-America linebacker and is in the ACU Sports Hall of Fame.
