High School: An outstanding middle blocker and outside hitter at Llano High Rostron led her team in kills as a junior and senior … she recorded over 640 kills as a senior on her way to back-to-back First Team all-District honors … she also recorded more than 60 blocks as a junior and senior … she was named Newcomer of the year in 2007 for head coach Shawn Sweeten-Meredith … Rostron was also honored for her work in the classroom as a two-time Academic all-District selection in 2007 & 2008 … she also was an all-District selection twice in basketball and a regional qualifier in track and field in 2007, 2008, and 2009
