Softball series moved back

ABILENE -- The ACU softball team will close out the home portion of its 2010 season this weekend with a three-game series against last-place Eastern New Mexico at Wells Field.

Saturday's doubleheader is set for a 3 p.m. start with the series finale set for a 1 p.m. start Sunday.

Despite their 3-8 record in Lone Star Conference South Division play, the Wildcats still haven't been mathematically eliminated from contention for the LSC Softball Championship Tournament. The Wildcats can't be worse than 5-1 in their last six division games (this weekend against last-place ENMU and next weekend at first-place West Texas A&M) and have a lot of help from the teams ahead of them, but they haven't been eliminated.
