Moronu Earns 5th LSC Honor

RICHARDSON – For the fifth time this year Ijeoma Moronu was name LSC Setter of the Week on Tuesday.
Helping push the Wildcats with two wins last week over Texas A&M-Kingsville and Tarleton State giving them 14 straight wins. Moronu had 27 assists, 10 digs, and six kills against TAMKU in a 3-0 win on Thursday. In the regular season finale she led ACU to a 3-1 victory recording 54 assists, two kills, nine digs, and one blocks against Tarleton state.
Moronu has moved up ACU's record book ranking fourth all-time in assists with 3,471 and 1,082 this season.
The Wildcats and Moronu have earned the second seed in the Lone Star Conference tournament and will open with Texas A&M-Kingsville on Thursday.
