ACU to host vault clinic

ABILENE -- ACU volunteer assistant track and field coach Cory Aguilar will be hosting a Spring Tuesday Night Pole Vault Clinic each Tuesday beginning this week (Feb. 9) and continuing through May 4 at Elmer Gray Stadium.

All middle school and high school pole vaulters are welcome to attend, but each Tuesday session will be limited to the first 10 pole vaulters to sign up for the clinic. For more information, contact Aguilar at 325-370-4724.

Aguilar, who competed for the Wildcats from 2003-06, is the only male athlete in Lone Star Conference history to win the pole vault in four straight conference meets. And he scored the final points in ACU's national championship season in 2006, putting the Wildcats over the top in the final standings.
