DURANT, Okla. -- The ACU Wildcats close out Lone Star Conference crossover play this weekend, beginning with Thursday night's game at Southeastern Oklahoma State.
The Wildcats and Savage Storm are set to tip off at 8 p.m. from Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium. The Wildcats will then be in Ada, Okla., Saturday for a 4 p.m. game against East Central.
ACU enters the contest at 6-7 and winners of their last two games after snapping a five-game losing skid.
The Wildcats are led by Eddie Thompson, who is scoring 12.8 points per game, while four other players average nine points or better. Giordan Cole leads the team on the boards with 6.5 rebounds per game, while Riley Lambert and Preston Davis lead the way in assists with 33 and 32, respectively.
Southeastern is led in scoring by Darrell Hicks with 11.2 ppg, to lead a trio of double-digit scorers, including Mychal Horn at 11.0 ppg and William Slones at 10.3 ppg. Slones leads the way pulling down 8.5 rebounds per outing, while Horn triggers the offense with 3.3 assists per game.
