
Bouniol honored by GCAA

BLAINE, Wash. – ACU golfer Cyril Bouniol has been voted third team NCAA Division II all-America and first team NCAA Division II all-South Central Region by the Golf Coaches' Association of America for his outstanding play during the 2009 spring season.
Bouniol, a sophomore from Laloubre, France, is one of only three Lone Star Conference golfers to earn all-America honors this season, joining second team selection Colby Shrum of Central Oklahoma and honorable mention slection Andrew Green of UCO on the team.
Bouniol, a first team all-LSC selection, averaged 73.7 strokes per round last spring and had an average tournament finish of 12th. He finished second in the individual championship race at both the St. Edward's Spring Invitational and the Dallas Baptist Patriot Invitational, and he was third at the Dustdevil Open. His best three-round score during the spring was a 1-under-par 215 at the DBU Invitational.
