ABILENE -- Junior forward Lyndsey Womack, who led ACU in both goals and points in 2009, was voted first team all-Lone Star Conference.  The team was announced Thursday prior to the start of the LSC Post-Season Tournament.

Junior fullback Kendall Cooper, freshman midfielder Julie Coppedge, junior midfielder Courtney Wilson and senior goalkeeper Crissy Lawson were each voted second team.  Senior forward Jordan Reese, sophomore fullback Alyse Ritchie, senior fullback Alyson Thomas, junior fullback Bree Craig each earned honorable mention all-LSC honors.

The Wildcats saw their regular season end Thursday with a 2-1 overtime loss to Midwestern State in the quarterfinal round of the LSC Post-Season Tournament in Canyon.  ACU must now wait until Monday to find out if its 10-7-2 overall record will be good enough for an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament.

Womack scored five goals and posted seven total points, tying Wilson for the team lead in both categories.  Womack scored her five goals on just 14 shots on goal.

Cooper finished the season with one one assist and one point for the Wildcats, but was one of the top defenders in the league for a team that allowed just 22 goals in 19 matches.  Coppedge was one of the top freshmen in the league, finishing with four goals -- all game-winners -- and four points on 23 shots.

Wilson -- ACU's all-time leader in goals and points -- scored five goals and totaled seven points on 22 shots on goal.  Lawson -- the LSC Pre-Season Goalkeeper of the Year -- played in 16 matches and pitched five shutouts.  She posted a save percentage of 80.4 percent.
