Sang named to all-region squad

ABILENE -- ACU cross country standout Amos Sang has been named to the NCAA Division II all-South Central Region cross country by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association.

Sang was the only Wildcat honored by the USTFCCCA after they finished 10th last Saturday at the region championship meet at Nelson Park in Abilene. Sang, however, won the individual championship and will be the Wildcats' lone representative at the national meet on Nov. 21 in Evansville, Ind.
